Dr Matthew Wynne is a UK-trained Consultant Dermatologist, with sub-specialty expertise in paediatric/adolescent Dermatology and complex acne.

He completed his medical training at University College London, earning his MBBS and iBSc in Medical Sciences. Dr Wynne completed a Clinical Research Fellowship at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, before undertaking Core Medical Training in Southampton, where he gained full MRCP. He completed Dermatology higher specialty training in the North West, where he subsequently worked as a Consultant, at Salford Royal Hospital.

Here, he established the Tertiary Acne service, working as its Clinical Lead. He served as a local investigator for the “GAIA” alopecia study and is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists Guideline Development Group for PUVA phototherapy. His clinical research in alopecia and medical Dermatology has earned multiple national and international awards, including the EHRS Patient Impact Award.

Dr Wynne is a thorough, empathetic and patient centered clinician, with extensive experience in a variety of Dermatological conditions in all age groups.
