Dr Alaa Sakr is a speciality doctor in dermatology. She qualified as a medical doctor in 2012 and is registered with the GMC. She has spent the last 10 years working and training in dermatology in Egypt and the UK and has a special interest in aesthetics and in hair loss and hair transplants.
Dr Alaa Sakr is a dermatology doctor and hair specialist with over 10 years of post-graduate clinical experience in dermatology, dermatological surgery, and aesthetic medicine. She has worked as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine in Glasgow, where she led hair transplantation and PRP procedures and provides a wide range of advanced aesthetic treatments including Botox, fillers and chemical peels.

- Data entry researcher at Burj al Arab Alexandria university hospital, Paediatric oncology centre since 2022.
- Clinical assessment and initial management of cases in the outpatient dermatology clinic, choosing the appropriate management plan for chronic cases, communication skills with patients or with medical staff colleagues, infection control principles, aesthetic procedures techniques and pre and post procedural care.
