Ms Bowers graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2007, and returned to Northern Ireland for Core surgical training, working in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast where she developed a passion for burn care and skin reconstruction.

Ms Bowers graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2007, and returned to Northern Ireland for Core surgical training, working in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast where she developed a passion for burn care and skin reconstruction.

She is a member of BAAPS, the BBA and is on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery.
Ms Bowers achieved her Plastic Surgery training position in Yorkshire and has completed the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons Aesthetic Mentorship. She had a Quality Improvement post as part of the Yorkshire and Humber Future Leaders programme and completed an Executive MBA from the University of Nottingham Business School.

Following completion of her plastic surgery training she was awarded the prestigious Burns Fellowship at the St Andrew’s Burn Centre, Chelmsford. She has presented nationally and internationally and has been awarded first prize for her presentation on reconstruction of the burnt breast at the British Burns Association national congress.

Ms Bowers offers a range of plastic surgery procedures at Belfast Skin Clinic including upper and lower eyelid surgery, brow lift, lip lift, labiaplasty, scar revision, pinnaplasty and skin lesion removal such as moles, cysts and skin tags.
